WHO WE ARE
We were founded in 2005 by four local Pagosa women. They saw a need to feed the hungry, an initiative that would eventually expand and formalize. In 2010, Loaves and Fishes received its non-profit designation as a 501(c)(3). We continue to operate free of charge and are on track to serve over 17,000 meals this year.
WHAT WE DO
Loaves and Fishes uses fresh ingredients and high quality meats to provide those in need a fresh meal to-go. We are the only organization in Archuleta County that provides this type of weekly service. But, we couldn't do it alone. It is because of the love, kindness and dedication of so many people that we are able to accomplish our mission.
